In 2006 Jennifer became certified as a Personal Trainer with the NSCA (National Strength & Conditioning Association) and started her journey into health, fitness and wellness. For 3 years Jennifer worked with a boutique gym in Singapore called Body Temple, specializing in helping pre and postnatal women regain their strength and fitness, as well as their confidence. She included nutrition counseling as well, noticing that once a client’s good nutrition was in place, her clients kept coming back for more, and referred new clients!
In 2010 Jennifer decided to branch out on her own, and started FitMoms, her personal training and wellness consulting business. FitMoms offered personal training, one on one sessions, as well as circuit training and boot camp classes for groups. But the integral part of her training with clients included her signature Wellness Coaching, teaching that one’s body shape, energy levels, and performance in the gym, are only as good as the food and nutrients you use to fuel your body. As part of her Wellness Coaching business, Jennifer ran 12 week Weight Loss Challenges which incorporated workshop lessons on various wellness and nutrition topics, as well as mindset training (she is an NLP trained Master Practitioner).
In 2014 Jennifer and her family left Singapore and moved back to their home country, the US. As part of starting fresh, she trained and studied with the amazing Practitioner coursework offered by Functional Diagnostic Nutrition (http://functionaldiagnosticnutrition.com), allowing her to give holistic nutrition and wellness advice to clients. As an FDN Practitioner Jennifer is able to take a deeper look into hormones and digestive capabilities through functional lab testing, areas that most certainly affect weight, performance, and mindset, and overall well being, yet are so often ignored.
Her Mission now is still the same as her calling is to help others find health, peace and wellness : Help individuals, families, and companies deep dive into ideal nutrition, hormonal balancing, digestive issues, as well as mindset coaching, in order to live a balanced, holistic, “I can rock my world again!” kind of life.
